Alexander Lakowsky MD, MBA
Founder of Reimbursement Rx, Instructor
Reimbursement Rx was founded by Alexander Lakowsky, MD MBA.
After more than 14 years of clinical experience in medicine, Dr. Lakowsky saw the need to help doctors better understand how and why they are getting paid, teach doctors to navigate the complex business side of medicine, and guide them on what they can do to improve their financial situation.
Throughout his career, Dr. Lakowsky has practiced in various practice settings including multi-specialty groups and single-specialty groups, and has worked as a hospitalist and as part of a large hospital foundation in an employed position.
Years of clinical work at various practice models gave Dr. Lakowsky a unique perspective of how the business of medicine works and evolves, which he was able to use to build his own private internal medicine practice from the ground up in 2012, creating a thriving professional medical environment that is advantageous for both doctors and patients.
The practice, Premier Medical Care, is run by Dr. Lakowsky and his wife and partner Dr. Batlin, and has become one of the top practices in the San Francisco Bay Area in California.
